Pressing InstructionsSettings for every type of hat press.

Dual Heated Hat Press: Set the bottom platen to 320°F and the top platen to 280°F. Use moderate pressure and press for 35 seconds. Press down on the patch for a few seconds after pressing to allow it to stick and stay in place.

Top Heated Only Hat Press: Set your press to 300°F. Pre-press your hat for 25 to 30 seconds. Place the patch on the hat immediately after the pre-press and apply enough pressure for it to stay in place while the hat is hot. Press the patch for 30 more seconds at medium pressure, using a heat-resistant cover pad over the patch to prevent scorching.

Household Iron: Use a moderate to high heat setting and apply mild pressure while moving around the patch for 30 to 45 seconds.

Cricut Hat Press: 300°F for 50 seconds while applying medium pressure.

Avoid harsh scrubbing when cleaning finished hats to help preserve the printed design.
