What Does DPI Mean?

What does DPI stand for? DPI stands for Dots per Inch, referring to the number of ink droplets a printer will produce per inch while printing an image. The more dots of ink per inch the picture has, the more detail you will see when printed.

What Does PNG Mean?

What is a PNG file? PNG is short for Portable Network Graphic, a type of raster image file. It's particularly popular file type with web designers because it can handle graphics with transparent or semi-transparent backgrounds.

Raster vs. Vector

Raster files are also commonly used for editing images, photos, and graphics.Vector files work better for digital illustrations, complex graphics, and logos. That's because the resolution of vectors remains the same when resized, making them suitable for a wide variety of printed formats.

Low Resolution Impacts Print Quality

Low resolution raster images may result in pixelation and blurry enlargements, hampering design quality. By utilizing vector graphics, which offer infinite scaling without quality loss and smaller file sizes, you can elevate design efficiency and effectiveness.
