Pressing InstructionsTemperature and timing for leather patch application.

Heat pressing is required to properly bond leather patches while maintaining their texture and finish. Because leather is heat-sensitive, using the correct temperature, time, and protection layer is critical.

Double Heat Press: Top 280°F, Bottom 320°F, Time 40 seconds, Cover: Silicone pad.

Single Heat Press: Top 350°F, Time 50 seconds, Cover: Silicone pad.

Application Steps:

  • Position the leather patch on the garment or surface.
  • Place a silicone pad over the patch to protect the leather.
  • Apply heat using either the double or single press settings listed above.
  • Allow the patch to cool completely before handling or moving the item.

Important Notes: Always use a silicone pad to protect the leather surface. Leather is heat-sensitive — avoid exceeding the recommended temperatures to prevent scorching or discoloration. Proper pressure is important to ensure bonding without flattening the natural leather texture.
