Heat pressing is required to properly bond leather patches while preserving their natural texture and finish. Because leather is heat-sensitive, using the correct temperature, time, and a protective cover is essential.

Double Heat Press

• Top Platen Temperature: 280°F (138°C)
• Bottom Platen Temperature: 320°F (160°C)
• Time: 40 seconds
• Cover: Silicone pad

Single Heat Press

• Top Platen Temperature: 350°F (177°C)
• Time: 50 seconds
• Cover: Silicone pad

Application Steps

1. Remove the protective backing from the patch before pressing.
2. Position the leather patch on the desired garment or surface.
3. Place a silicone pad over the patch to protect the leather surface.
4. Heat press using either the Double Heat Press or Single Heat Press settings listed above.
5. Allow the patch to cool completely before handling or moving the item.

• Always use a silicone pad to protect the leather during heat application.
• Leather is heat-sensitive. Do not exceed the recommended temperatures, as excessive heat may cause scorching, discoloration, or damage.
